The art of being original

It’s been quite a while since I started trying out this stuff called blogging. Personal diary on the web for others to see - that’s what it was for me. I know I haven’t written all what I wanted to. May be time flew so fast that I couldn’t even sit in front of my PC for an extended period to key in my thoughts so that the world could see.

As time continues its flight at break-neck speed, the windows to a brave, bold and honest new world opens up before me in the form of other people’s blogs. I now realise what I do comes nowhere some breath takingly sincere thoughts scribbled down here on blogosphere.

My ego doesn’t permit me to say that all blogs here went steps ahead of my solitudescribbles in terms of readability. Honestly, some gave me the consolation that my words too match up known to a readable level. But there indeed are many who do make me look like a illiterate clown.

Every time I log on to the World Wide Web, I stop by the doorstep of a handful of blogs. One among them weaves into my thoughts like a wisp of smoke, invisible to the dark, like a snake of mystery against a ray of light, another dangles me from memories and enlightment. There are many others too like the one which keeps on telling my conscience that hunger is an eternal mother tongue and the poor are always faithful to it.

The young minds I write about are well above the ordinary. Originality is manna showered from the writer to the reader. The thinking minds behind the awesome blogs abound in that. I wish the world sees these writings, original in every plane, and applauds. They do deserve more than a pat or a hug.

Recognising and appreciating original words raises one to the level of the appreciated. After all its a personal diary and everything must be original. Ego go to hell, to the devil's workshop.

Yeah right sanjeev! The original-ists deserve more than just a pat or a hug! A kiss for them! for i really found the ones you listed "a-musing' and I could see thru the "Iota's I"

And now thats the true blogger spirit. Appreciating the one who is original and deserves it is the High-Morals. For, I feel, copying(but, without giving due credits) is a practice of Low-Life a$$h0le

in fact i went thru your blog as one of the most reader freindly ones with out any artistic embellishments. very simple, readable english and as a teacher and lover of language, one thing i know is that its much more difficult to write flowing, simple language than write bombastic unweildy prose. your language flows, that shows your mastery over the realm which most of the non native speakers of english lack. keep going
